Their partnership brings global artistry and local legacy under one roof, making every appointment personal, powerful, and unforgettable.
Meet Lana
Co-Founder | Stylist | Visionary Artist
Lana’s journey began in Russia, where her love for beauty and fashion took root at just 16 years old. Her talent was quickly recognized — with her work even featured in Russian fashion magazines.
In 2008, she moved to America with a dream: to build something beautiful. That dream became reality through Lana’s & Lorie’s Hair Salon, where she brings her global flair, technical precision, and heart for clients to every service.
She’s passionate about helping each client feel radiant and confident, inside and out. A lifelong animal lover and jewelry artist, Lana also cherishes quiet family moments and meaningful conversations behind the chair.
Meet Lorie
Co-Founder | Master Braider | Community Icon
Born and raised in Calhoun County, Lorie has spent her life serving the community with her hands and her heart. She’s braided hair for generations — from children and students to brides, graduates, and respected leaders — always bringing love, legacy, and care to her craft.
Her styles have traveled far beyond Alabama, yet her roots remain deeply planted in the people of Jacksonville. Now in partnership with Lana, Lorie is proud to offer her artistry to Jacksonville State University’s students, faculty, and guests — expanding her reach with the same commitment to excellence she’s known for.
Lorie and her husband Charles have six children and a growing number of grandchildren, who fill their weekends with joy, especially at sporting events. Whether cheering from the bleachers or creating a crown of braids, Lorie lives to uplift and empower the next generation.
